Before I wrote under my own name, I wrote as "Nur Misur - Light of Egypt." Under the pen name Painted Veil, King and Consort, Joyful Release, Echelon, Adrift, and Escape From The Gods found readers who continue returning to them years later.
These works belong to a freer period of my writing: dramatic, emotionally unguarded, deeply rooted in vampire culture, mysticism, forbidden devotion, hierarchy and transformation. Their prose differ from the more sophisticated architecture of my current saga, but the emotional bond between character and reader remain the standard I continue to pursue.
